Den2 "Carry A Callcard Day" Callcard (1270)

This specially designed Callcard enabled users to scribble directly onto the card their most important telephone numbers, such as family, friends and emergency numbers. An information pack outlining the programme and information about Eircom payphones and Callcards was sent to teachers to promote the safety benefits of children carrying Callcards.

The Callcard features an illustration of the Eircom multi-payment payphone.

"Carry a Callcard Day" was Launched in conjunction with RTE's Den2 (Den 2) as a safety initiative held on April 17th 2000. Designed for children aged 4-12, the "Eircom Carry a Callcard Day" promoted an increased awareness of Eircom Callcards and their safety benefits amongst children, teachers and parents.
