A question put to many but unknown to most. The infamous callcard that haunted so many collectors because of variation, chip types, misprints and the fact that if you found a card in a phonebox in the early 90's... it was bound to be a Cottage Callcard!
As you can imagine, we're trying to gather as much research and data for the site. One thing we were having no joy with was getting a copy of the Eircom Callcard Club website. To our knowledge, it was shut down in late 2008 (tbc) and at this stage, we can't even remember how it looked...
As I discussed previously, the biggest pain in the @ss certainly is importing all the prepared data, validating it and formatting it.
Initially, we carefully crafted a callcard database using excel, documenting all the callcards we know of out there. Then it came to manually typing up this data in the site site and we realised that even though the site has been designed with a DB backend, its still gonna take forever to import all the data by hand (and we've still to touch up all the scanned in images).
