Card Information

This Callcard was issued as a limited Edition for the International Stamp & Coin Fair which was held in the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham in Dublin. The Callcards were available at the Fair on the 1st and 2nd of May 1993. The card features the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham and the Stamp & Coin Fair logo.

Of the 1,100 cards issues, 500 went to the Telecom Eireann Callcard Collectors Club. Of the remaining 600 Callcards, 100 were placed in special patrons packs. The other 500 were available at the door in a special collectors pack for IR£4.50.

Over time it's been noticed that the chip in sealed packs have deteriorated and have gone slightly rusty, due to a layer of silver tarnishing (covering contacts on the chip).
